2013 Nordeast Big River Homebrew Competition Results

Booth at NEBRBF 2013
From across the nation (and one from Germany) 190 entries made their way to Nordeast Minneapolis to face the strict adjudication of the 2013 Nordeast Big River Homebrew Competition.  Some were deemed champions of the brew kettle while others received constructive criticism to use in preparation for next year’s competition.  Hopefully a good time was had by all.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the judges, stewards and volunteers who offered their time to help progress the art that is brewing.  For that, the Nordeast Brewers Alliance is incredibly grateful.  Not to be understated is all the help we were given by all our sponsors.  Thank you very much for all the sponsors, local and from afar, for spreading the word about the competition, as well as sending in some amazing donations that were sent out as prizes.

Judging occurred October 12th/13th and winners were announced at the sold out Nordeast Big River Brew Fest on October 19th.

Announcing winners at the Brew Fest! The NE Big River HBC is a competition for all beer styles, as well as two specialty styles: American Wild Ale and 100% Brettanomyces fermented beers.  Below is the full listing of winners.  Thanks to all for participating!
