Next week is thinking outside the box: 3D printing for brewing. What tools or objects would help your brew day? Hose clips? Airlocks? Tap handles?

Come hear about some ideas and see what the process takes!
Three things to think about this month:
The monthly education topic will look at some ideas!

Cheers!
Next week the education topic will look at unmalted and cereal grains across a variety of beer styles. No, adding breakfast cereal is not what this means — but we did have a good time with this experiment in 2019! Come find out how different grains in a high proportion of the grist means from a few brewers.

Cooler weather still means brewing and sharing beers outside! This month we have a few things going on:

Come check things out — and bring a tasting glass! Cheers!
Our friends at Omega Yeast will be dialing into the meeting this month as the kick-off to the meeting, so get in early to grab a seat and learn something about yeast and fermentation.

Every monthly meeting has an education or experiment component where we share knowledge and ideas in ways that are open to any brewer — first-time through advanced. Everyone is welcome to join our meetings, share some homebrew, and meet new folks. Come on by this month and say hello!
East Side Neighborhood Services, Northeast Minneapolis, Thu Aug 21, 7-9pm
Congratulations to Aaron D and Carl B for their wins at the Summer Party!! Aaron’s Azacca pale ale took home the low gravity prize and Carl’s brisket was a hit for lunch! The Winter Party is coming up in about six months, so fine-tune your high gravity beverages (>8% ABV, brewed in 2025) and chili recipes to take home the next set of awards!

This month we will be talking with celebrating National IPA Day at Barrel Theory for the monthly Taproom Takeover. Later, chatting with Omega Yeast at the monthly meeting about yeast and fermentation. Check ’em out!
Cheers!
Next week at the monthly meeting we are going to take some clean, fresh beer and spike it with off-flavor kits for some sensory training. We will also talk about recent and upcoming events, like the Summer Party on Sat Jul 19, and other club business.

Feel free to stop by! If the weather is nice, we will be under the pavilion behind the ESNS parking lot (like the photo here!).
Cheers!
This month we will be spending some time outside:

Put on your sunscreen and grab a tasting glass! Everyone is welcome to join NBA events and meetings any time. Feel free to stop by or reach out if you have any questions. Do you want feedback on your homebrewed beer, mead, cider, or wine? We are good at that!
Cheers!
Congratulations to everyone who took part in Sour Times 2025; there were so many great entries, as always! We are thrilled to be able to keep running this competition.
Also a huge thanks to the judges, stewards, and staff for putting in many hours of work to make judging day move so smoothly.
Cheers!
