December 18th Meeting Agenda
The third Thursday of the month means it’s the monthly club meeting! Everyone is welcome -members, friends, and all interested parties should feel free to check us out!
Usual location and time: East Side Neighborhood Services, 1700 2nd St NE, Minneapolis. 7:00-9:00pm.
As always, bringing homebrew is welcome, and encouraged. Have a great batch you want to show off? Have a bad batch you want critiqued? Want to watch Nathan taste your funky sour mess? Bring it in, please label according to the law (SF 2336 details here 7.17). It needs to say it’s homemade, not licensed for sale or subject to inspection, and it needs the brewer’s name and address on it.

Big River Homebrew Competition update – GABF Pro Am
Have you entered the Big River Homebrew Competition yet? Here’s another reason to get you beers in. Entrants now have a chance to be part of the 2015 Great American Beer Festival! Spread the word!

The 3rd annual Big River Homebrew Competition is proud to announce NorthGate Brewing will be sponsoring the grand prize – a chance to have their beer brewed as for the GABF Pro-Am in 2015.
The Mini Best of Show winners will be will be evaluated by the NorthGate Brewing crew. Their favorite, the Brewers’ Choice, will have the opportunity to collaborate with NorthGate Brewing to have their beer brewed and entered in the GABF Pro-Am competition, held October 2015.
Currently the Big River Homebrew Competition is at 50% capacity and registration is open until September 28th. Full rules and registration are available at nordeasthbc.brewcompeition.com

The Big River Homebrew Competition is sponsored by the Nordeast Brewers Allliance and proceeds benefit the East Side Neighborhood Services. Winners will be announced at the 4th annual Big River Brew Fest on October 18th. Tickets are currently available for $25.
Rules:
-Entrant must be a registered AHA member at the time of the GABF entry deadline.
-Beer styles may be eliminated based upon NorthGates ability to brew (ie. no sours or funky stuff)
-Winning recipe will be modified to accommodate the professional system

Sep 18th Meeting Agenda
Our monthly meeting is Sep 18th, at East Side Neighborhood Services, 7:00-9:00pm.
Monthly meetings are open to the public, feel free to stop by and check us out! Bring some homebrew for sharing and get some feedback from members, hear about our cool events coming up, and hopefully learn a thing or two about brewing!
The club also happened upon a large bulk buy of grain and hops that we need to get rid of – particular varieties will be available at the meeting for a very low price!
