The NBA’s director of operations, Tyler Bye worked with Chip Walton from Chop & Brew recently to put together a promo video for the upcoming 2013 Nordeast Big River Brew Fest homebrew competition. Check it out and give him some shit for his pronunciation of “Brett-na-mycees!”
Good times had by all today at the NBA’s summer BBQ and low-gravity homebrew competition. Over 30 in attendance enjoyed some great food and some truly exceptional beers (and homemade soda!). Below are the full competition results. 3 points were awarded to a 1st place vote, 2 points for a 2nd place vote and 1 point for a 3rd place vote. Points are tallied as such in the “points” column. Barrel project recipe formulators and executive committee members gathered at De Boer Cellars this week to do a tasting of the barrels to assess progress of the beers three months into the aging process.
